America is so divided that it is about to implode. Take the case of Condoleeza Rice. Although she has been confirmed, how is it possible for her to stand before the world and say I represent America, when the world knows she only represents a faction of America.

World leaders will know that she only represent a faction of America and if they do not like what she is offering, why not wait for the next administration? It is only four years away.

As I watched the confirmation hearsing of Dr. Rice, I could not help but wonder, how can reasonable men and women be so far apart? After we watching the leaders of the country argue and bicker about the proper course of action to take in government. These people are suppose to be reasonable people which justifies the reason that they are in the postition that they enjoy.

What we to teach our children about this? Are we to teach them conservative values or liberal values? Which on of them is the right one. I do not think that the election results answers this question. In fact the past presidental election only points out how divided the country is.

It is incredible that George Bush believes that he can successfully run the country with a bare majority of the people supporting him. Clearly people who fear from the breakdown of terrorism that stems from the lack of security coming at our borders, should be more concerned about the security within our own borders. Unfortunately, the current administration does not enjoy a broad base of support which is going the breed unrest and unrest will lead to instability, and instability is going to lead to action, and this action is going to threaten the security of us all. Have we forgotten the Oklahoma Bombing?

In Los Angeles, We pay cops to beat the Black Youths!

In Los Angeles, California, two police officers have received a two million dollars jury verdict, after they were videotaped while beating a young Black teenager; were disciplined for doing so, and they filed a lawsuit for being disciplined. Obviously the jury thought they had done their jobs well. We are a nation of laws, but whose law?

And what are the so-called Black leaders doing about this? They are in church praying to Moses' God so save us from these tyrants. The truth is, many of these people dispise our Black youths as much as the cops. God Bless America!

THE FAILED WESTERN WORLD (the need to make it real)

There is a real force in this world that causes all things to be or not to be. That force is driven by the world that we cannot see, but this world is just as real as the world that we do see and most of all, it is all powerful. However, the Western man, especially the white man tries to manipulate reality while ignoring this hidden power. Since the white man is caught up in the cognitive world, it would be appropriate for me to introduce you to the cognitive world.

At some time in the history of our development as human beings, we did not have a language or if we had one it was very limited and crude. Our communications with others were achieved by our actions, and such actions were driven by our feelings and emotions. However somewhere during our development as human beings, we developed a language, first an oral language and later on we added the written language. With the development of the written language, mankind was able to define his world, and later he was able to record such finding in books and papers, etc. This is the beginning of what I call “Cognitive Reality” or the “Cognitive World.”

While operating in the cognitive world mankind was able to fill libraries with words defining his or her world, and then he used logic and mathematics to analyze and measure his world. Logic and mathematics were introduced to the cognitive world to draw conclusions and prove the existence of things in the cognitive world. These developments led to the creation of a world that denies all things that could not be defined or explained in the cognitive world, or otherwise proven with mathematics. In other words, if a thing could not be perceived or proven then the cognitive world denied its existence (science).

This development in cognitive reality caused the world of those who have adopted it, to shrink relatively speaking, from the size of a water melon to the size of a pea. It denies the entire world of feelings, and is totally opposed to emotions which are nothing more than intensified feelings. The world of feelings is infinite and we as human beings can experience such feelings, even those that cannot be defined or proven by cognitive reality. More importantly, the world of feelings is also the world that holds this hidden power that causes all things to be or not to be. In fact, it is this power that causes of all things appearing in cognitive reality to be or not to be.

The cognitive world being a world that is devoid of feelings and as a consequence lacking in creative power has developed a world of illusions based totally on theory. Because this world is lacking in creative powers nothing works. Those things that are visible in the cognitive world are caused by powers that come from the world that one cannot see. Thus, if one is making decisions based upon the visible world, such decisions will always fall short of achieving whatever they are designed to achieve.

“Keeping it real,” is a phrase that comes from the inner city which means, invoking the powers of the whole of reality, which includes that which is visible and that which we cannot see. Even though we cannot see the other world, we know that it is the cause of all things visible.

The Western man is committed to using science, past facts, and logic to make decisions about life which has created a purely theoretical world. This world is a living hell for the people who believe in such, because it does not work. But what happens when the theoretical world fails, the Western man gives you more theory. Unfortunately the masses cannot see through this madness because they are thoroughly committed to the cognitive world.

Once I was speaking with a Doctor about this notion and he said to me, “I have a friend who is the greatest doctor in the world when it comes down to teaching, giving lectures and unraveling medical problems in theory. However, he has killed more patients during surgery than any other doctor I know.” This man was not connected to the real world is but purely a theorists and as a theorist, did not know how to make life real. However, if would have you asked him why his many patients had died during his botched surgery procedures, he would quickly provide more theory.

Recently we are told that the FBI has a computer system that has been in development of four years, and cost $178,000,000 but does not work. It does not work because it is based upon theory and not the real world. Needless to say, we have thousand of stories like which have cost the taxpayers billions of dollars. However if you were to asked a politician or anyone in authority about these failures, they will quickly provide more theory.

Do you seriously think that the plans for the Homeland Security are going to work? Without one ounce of evidence I am positive that Tom Ridge, the former Secretary of Homeland Security, ran away from this job because it is royal mess. I can guarantee you that they will spend billions and billions of dollars and never make it work.

George Bush and his administration concocted a theory and took this country into war against Iraq. Needless to say, it is a colossal failure and is going to take 100 years to unravel this failure, if ever. So what is the administration’s response to his mess? It is another theory.

The Los Angeles Unified School District built a high school that cost more than $200,000,000 and then discovered that is was built on an earthquake fault. Unfortunately we are we dealing theorists of the highest order, who cannot solve this problem. What make this situation so drastic is, these are the same people that have the responsibility for educating our children. Who is going to educate them?

Of course I could go on forever citing cases unfolding in this failed society, but the question is, how long it will take to wake these people up so that they can learn how to make life’s experiences real, and how to “keep it real?

If you were to ask any person in authority, he or she will quickly point out the need for more education, but again I ask, who is going to educate the educators. Many of the people in the inner city have known for a long time that education based upon Western values is not the answer to life many problems. We need people in charge who know how to make it real and keep life real.

Cognitive Reality and the World of Automatons!

If you do not learn anything else from this blog, you must become aware of the world in which we are now living which I call the world of automatons. An automaton is a human being that has been turned into a computer. Its only capability is learning rules and applying the rules it has learned. It cannot think on its own and always need a script to guide it when speaking. It is a world that is being choked by the overdependence on cognitive reality, a world that is dominated by rules and authority. This is the world of mainstream America 2005.

I am certain that you have confronted a bank teller wanting a slight deviation from the script, when the teller will tell you, we cannot do that. Whatever you are seeking is perfectly legal and logical, but the teller will first turn to the computer, and then tell you that the computer will not allow you to do what you are seeking to do. Here you have encountered is a human being, that is not allowed to think, and is completely supervised by a computer. How would you enjoy being supervised by a machine all day? This human being which has been turned into automaton has learned the rules of his or her job and leaned how to follow the rules. However he or she is absolutely not allowed to think. Moreover, this person more than likely has completed four years of college, and this college education has turned what was once a thinking human being, into an automaton.

I called up the telephone company to pay the cell phone bills of my wife and mine. I wanted to pay by telephonic check, and further wanted to pay both phone bills using one check. The person on the other end of the line from the phone company quickly informed me that I could not pay with one check. I had to pay each phone bill using a separate check for each. I asked why I could not pay two phone bills with one check, and she informed me that it was because of the rules.

Who is making all of these rules you may ask? It is the people who are in authority to do so. Notice I say people with authority. These people do not have any superior knowledge about the things they are controlling, they are simply in authority. An important aspect of the automaton world is the belief and respect for authority. Regardless as to whether something works or not, it is acceptable as long as it reflects the instructions and wishes of authority. Thus, we have belief in authority, rules and scripts that control the world of automatons.

We have news readers who use scripts to deliver the news which reduce them down to automatons. They do not have the authority to think about the news they are reading and are forbidden to add or change any aspect of the script. We are talking about the automatons at the highest level because the level of education that these people must have to get those jobs. Walter Cronkite was an honorable man, but all of the years he read the news, he made no significant contribution to society, because he spent all of his years as an automaton and not as a thinking human being. Of course the same can be said of Tom Brokaw who recently retired from NBC.

We also have actors and actresses simply learning and following scripts in accordance with directors who represent the authority. Television talk shows have the various hosts using scripts to do the show and conduct interviews, which surprised the hell out of me when I discovered this fact.

The host for the Oscars award show must prepare a script which must be approved before the show can go on. There is absolutely no end to this scripted world that is drive by cognitive reality. However, this world is on the verge of imploding and will be completely destroyed by universal energy. Why? It is because people are caught up in cognitive energy.

If you have ever wondered why we are having the recent Tsunami, floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, and all kinds of natural disasters in our world, it is because the people of the world has stop connecting with universal energy because the over reliance on recorded facts, and rules, and of course human authority. Because the universal energy is not being used by humans, it goes unchecked while destroyed everything it its path.

If you have ever wondered what happened to various lost societies such as the Mayans, the Egyptians, and many others, they were swallowed up by cognitive reality a reality devoted to logic, rules, and authority. They are completely unaware of how to connect with universal energies which is the most powerful use of the human mind. These people had turned into automatons, by ignoring the energy of the universe, and using scripts, rules, and authority created by dead facts to run their lives.

I want to remind them that this is a living universe and therefore facts, logic, and analysis are of no consequence. One must learn how to connect with and deal with universal energies.

Negative expectations cause negative results!

There is a spiritual truth that does not change. It has been true since the beginning of time and will be true until the end of time. This truth is expressed as, “if you expect negative things to happen, they will happen, but only because you expect them to happen. Your expectations release energy into the universe that attracts things and situations into life's experiences in accordance with that energy.

Nothing in our lives creates more negative expectations like the news media. They are under the impression that if you are made aware of negative situations, you can better avoid them. Actually the contrary is true. To be made aware of negative situations is to cause them to be expected, which attracts the situations you are seeking to avoid. Although America was attacked in 2001, its security has never been challenged, except in the media and George Bush’s mind. For three years America has used this color code system to prepare for the worse and nothing happened in America, but our soldiers dying every day in the iraqi war because of the negativity associated with our negative state of consciousness.

The news media thrive on negative situations, and therefore works very hard to keep negative expectations on the minds of its viewers. This is such a reversal of energy because people are actually deceived into believing that bringing in negative expectations is a way of being prudent, when if fact it is doing just the opposite.

How long will it take us to wake up from this terrible nightmare?

War on Drugs Targets the Wrong Enemy!

President Bush claims that terrorism fostered by the group, Al Qieda is America's enemy. But instead of pursuing Al Qieda, and its leader Ben Laden, he attacks Iraq. What is so surprising about this is, based upon the most recent polls, most of the American people accepts this faulty logic and are willing to vote for him again.

A similar situation exists with the war on drugs. Let me explain. My mother-in-law who is 89 asked me to pick up her prescription from the drug store. She offered to give me the money, but I said never mind, I will take care of it myself. It was only two prescriptions and I figured that it would cost about $20.00, at the most. I was shocked when I discovered that I had to pay $42.95. I said to myself, damn, the dealers on the street are really irrelevant when compared with the real drug dealers which are the American Pharmaceutical companies. Moreover, the so-called “war on drugs” is fought against the guy selling an ounce of cocaine in the streets, when that same government is behind the Pharmaceutical companies that are also pushing drugs and ripping off the American people to boot.

Whether you know it or not, drug dealers on the streets get into fights over territory. It is war, when one drug dealer moves in on another’s territory. Well, the pharmaceutical companies the legal drugs dealers also have a territorial war, and that war is with Canada. They do not want Canada moving in on their territory.

Not only do the American pharmaceutical companies have law enforcement fighting against the wrong enemy, they have the six o’clock evening news television programs assist them in marketing their drugs, and they also have most doctors in America assisting in their marketing efforts. By the way, did you know that the Physicians’
Desk Reference, is a medical reference book published by the pharmaceutical companies? Most doctors use this book religiously to practice medicine advising you to do all kinds of things, the most important of which is to take drugs.

Now here is the real kicker. I have not as of yet, heard one congress person from either political party oppose the drugs wars which is being leveled against the wrong enemy, or the territory war against Canada. Is it because they are all bought and paid for by the pharmaceutical companies."

On September 30, 2004 Vioxx had its prolbems:

"THE SERIAL KILLER, VIOXX, IS FINALLY CAUGHT!

On September 22, 2004, I posted a blog entitled War on Drugs Targets the Wrong Enemy!

Here we are a little more than a week later, with the big announcement by Merck & Co. (Merck) that Vioxx is being pulled off the market because long term use causes heart attacks and strokes. First and foremost, you know that it must be bad when the manufacturer decides to pull a drug that is making 2 billion dollars a year. If FDA had initiated the recall, then one may feel that they were being overly cautious. But when the manufacturer acts on its own accords to pull this drug, know that it is bad.

There are three other aspects to this announcement that I want to share with you. First, the CEO of Merck, Ray V. Gilmartin, held a news conference and said that Merck was acting out of an abundance of caution to a situation that could have been cured by changing the information on the label of the drug. Was this man serious? Can you imagine a label on a drug that reads, "caution, taking this drug could cause a heart attack or stroke."

By the way, I was watching this story on CNN, and its residence doctor made and unbelievable statement, "it is no big thing because one can obtain Vioxx in generic form." I said to myself, "wait a minute, isn't a generic drug the same drug, chemically speaking, as the drug with the brand name?" Therefore if Vioxx causes heart attacks and strokes, then so will any generic drug designed to treat the same condition.

As if this was not enough silliness, CNN later contacted a doctor who was apparently at his office and interviewed him on the air over the telephone, and he said essentially the same thing, i.e. one can obtain a generic drug to replace Vioxx.

It is clear to me that CNN, its residence doctor and the doctor who was interviewed on the telephone have been co-opted by the pharmaceutical companies. I knew they have our political leaders bought and paid for, but now I see that their influence is broader than I had originally thought. They have CNN, other doctors, and perhaps all other media sources wrapped around their little finger. If you want to live a healthy and happy life, stay away from them as much as possible. They do not have your interest at heart.

Poor and Sloppy Staff work for Bush Administration!

It is hard to imagine how George W. Bush could nominate a Homeland Security Chief for the job who is not fit to serve because of a flawed background. It would have been a simple matter for the white house staff to call up Mr. Kerik and ask if there were any reasons that he could not serve as the head of Homeland Security, before making the nomination.

I think America deserve the minimal amount of staff work before nominating anyone to such an important position. Again, it is clear that these people have lost the capacity to govern.

Yesterday, a bill that had more then 1100 pages had buried in it, a provision that would have allowed certain politicians to view the tax returns of private citizens. The real problem is not that we would have anyone involved in the legislative process that would do such a thing in a democratic society, but the fact that we have a bill covering more than 1100 pages for anyone to read.

It reminds me of Bill Clinton's book. What in the hell was he thinking in writing a 900 page book. Who in the hell has the time or inclination to read 900 pages of anything.

People are arguing that the problems of leadership is caused by the Democrats or the Republicans, but it is not so much as a partisan problem as much it is a problem with Western thinking in general. Our political system has stopped functioning because it is bogged down with paper. By the way it is not only true with the political system but is true will all of America.

The real culprit is the commitment to cognitive reality. In cognitive reality, all things are reduced to a rule or number. We then add in a little logic and analysis, and bingo, we have an unworkable system. Did you know that last year, we had 47 states in financial trouble in the face of all of our great knowledge and technology. We will continue to fail until we wake up to the fact that our leaders who are committed to cognitive reality, cannot lead.

They can only go through the motions by collecting out tax dollars, living in luxury, creating papers, appearing on television, and passing laws. None of these activities will solve any problem that we have in this society.

Now that I can see through these people and the system under which they operate, it does not bother me, but I feel so sorry for the many people who still believe and follow these so-called leaders. How long will it take them to wake up?

Bush was not gualified to be president of the United States when he was elected to office. He had to learn on the job, which is what Condoleeza Rice will be doing.

Silly News Media - It is no wonder Bush won!

This morning I was watching CNN American Morning and was taken back by the sequence of stories and/or features.

First, they had a report on the shooting of the wounded insurgent by one of our soldiers. Of course the general consensus of the CNN's crew was, "it was ok. How dare anyone make a big fuss over such a minor thing. After all those people aren't even human," they intimated.

This report was followed with "90 Second POP," where they had three goofy-looking white people talking about certain events of POP culture. Specially they were talking about the rock group called "The Who". Who in the hell cares about the group WHO, and who decided to give them air time? I certainly hope that people like me were not included in their so-called POP culture. This feature was followed by the merger between Kmart and Sears, which was something coming clear out of left field.

While watching this continuous jump from one thing to another with no consideration for any kinda planned transitions, I was wondering, should this program make some kind of sense?

These are the same people who are wondering why George W. Bush won the election. It is perhaps because America has gone unhip, goofy and superficial.

Good-Bye Colin Powell & Good Bye to diplomacy!

I think that Colin Powell thought prior to taking the job as Secretary of State, that with his military experience he could assist the Bush administration with its foreign policy goals. He thought that he could join reasoning with his experience and assist in guiding the administration to being quite successful in its foreign policy.

What Powell had not counted on, was 911. After 911, the administration relied exclusively on the emotions of other cabinet memebers and it were those emotions which guided the administration's foreign policy. Powell was saying, let us use caution, diplomacy, and good sound judgment as we proceed after 911.

The other cabinet members were saying, "this is America, the most powerful country in the world. How can anyone have the nerve to attack us? Especially since we have the most powerful military force and all of the money in the world."

Unfortunately the outcome of conflicts with other countries nowadays are not always decided by military mite and money, especially when one is dealing with suicide bombers and terrorists.

Clearly the current administrator's is out of touch with the reality. As a consequence, we have paid dearly with over 1100 soldiers lives and will continue to pay until the administration get in touch with reality. Military mite and money is needed, but one must always throw in some diplomacy. Moreover, going it alone, costs too many American lives.

There are two elements that will cause us to pay with more soldiers lives. The first of which is George Bush's won re-election in the face of his many blunders, and secondly Colin Powell is leaving the administration taking notions of reality and diplomacy with him.

I received an email this morning offering me a seat in an upcoming foreclosure seminar. I do not believe in morality or religion, but I wondered about those people that do. By and large, they remain silent as their friends and associates openly exploit the misfortunres of others.

This is especially telling on the so-called "do-gooders" who go to church every Sunday and oppose such things as rap music and violent movies. However when his or her neighbor get ill and because of such illness his house goes into forclosure, this do-gooder will shell out the money to buy his neighbor's house in foreclosure.

Going beyond the rule of law!

Our so-called leaders and people who follow them are obsessed with the "rule of law". They are of the opinion that everything operates within the realm of certain rules or laws, and they base all of their efforts on trying to discover these laws and apply them in our daily lives. This is what get what I call, "cognitive reality".

It took me 45 years to become aware of a whole new reality that is always involved in our lives that dwell outside of cognitive reality. In fact this reality that I call The New Reality controls all things that happen, but the individual cannot get involved until he or she has acknowledged this new reality, and learn how to connect with it. Otherwise, a person life experiences will be controlled by a Karma-like force based upon previous experiences.

How long will it take for our people to go beyond the "rule of law" and wake up the the truth that The New Reality does not give a damn about the laws made by the unawakened man.

Evolution v. Creation- How Silly can the Western Mind be?

In Georgia, the opponents have filed a case to prevent evolution from being taught as a fact. My question is, if the two sides cannot agree with respect to evolution or creation, what make them think that the judge has some special knowledge to decide the case. There is nothing to indicate that this judge has divine knowledge or any other source of know that the litigants do not have. Here is the essence of the dispute:

"ATLANTA - A public school board in Georgia violated the U.S. Constitution when it placed stickers that challenge the theory of evolution on biology textbooks two years ago, a lawyer for a group of parents said on Friday.

U.S. District Judge Clarence Cooper pledged on Friday to try to deliver a speedy verdict. In closing arguments on the fifth day of a federal trial in Atlanta, attorney Michael Manley accused the Cobb County school district of using the disclaimers to promote religion in its classrooms. "They are promoting religious dogma to all students," said Manley, who noted the stickers referred only to evolution and not to other alternative theories about the origins of the human race. The stickers, which appeared after pressure from hundreds of parents, many of them religious conservatives, read: "This textbook contains material on evolution. Evolution is a theory, not a fact, regarding the origin of living things. This material should be approached with an open mind, studied carefully and critically considered."

Here is what really make the Western mindset so silly. The evolutionists claim we came from apes or monkeys, but does not answer the question as to who created the money. The religionists on the other hand claim the man was created by a supreme being. They are both making the same argument unless the evolutionists are claiming that monkeys or apes are eternal living things. Can't the litigants see through their arguments?

CNN - Screwing up people's mind reporting on vitamin E

CNN ran a story yesterday morning reporting that a new study finds that vitamin E may not be as beneficial to our health as once thought. It turns our that vitamin E may not only be less healthy than previously thought, but in fact, it may cause harm.

Then CNN's reporter went to tell us that the original doctors that initially told us about the benefits of vitamin E, stuck with their original finding that vitamin E is good for our health. Then after creating this incredible confusion, CNN cut and went on to another story.

A couple of things needs to be said. If I believe in the benefits of vitamin E, my belief adds to the effectiveness of the vitamin as well as all things that I do. However to take that away from me, and then leave me hanging, which is what CNN did this morning, does more harm than good.

The second thing that needs to be said from my perspective, is I do not believe in studies anyway because I know that a person's belief is more responsible for their health than anything coming from outside of them.

To sum it all up, when watching CNN, and most of the news reporting like this, we are watching the darkest mind on the planet in action...God bless their souls.

What Kind of pill is targeted for Blacks only?

NEW ORLEANS - A two-drug combination pill dramatically reduced deaths among blacks with heart failure, a landmark finding that is expected to lead to government approval of the first medication marketed for a specific race.

Is there some difference bewteen Blacks and other races? If not why would a study target Blacks only? If there is a difference, we need to know what it is, because such a study would not have happened unless someone had a hypothesis in the first place. What is this hypothesis?

Our children and relatives are dying in vain!

With all of the bloodshed in Iraq, and with our so-called political and military leaders walking around with their hands up thier asses, I am so glad that I do not have a child or relative in Iraq.
These leaders claim that serving in the war is a honorable thing to do. However, I see a war precipitated by false notions of reality, blunders, and fear. The irony of this whole matter is, we in the U.S., do not recognize the many blunders, just like George W. Bush does not acknowledge that he has made mistakes, and this "head in the sands" mentality goes for all of the many people who re-elected him.

Can you imagine George W. Bush on a golf course, while our young children and relatives maimed and killed?

A "Right Wing America" is not for me!

With the re-election of George W. Bush, and the election of key senate seats, it is clear that the country have moved far to the right politically, economically, and socially. This shift to right wing America brings an incredible exclusionary mentality.

I have heard people say, join the system and change it. Regardless how hard you may try, you will not become a part of this system, and therefore will not get the opportunity to change it from within. However, there is another way to insure that you get the opportunities and breaks that you deserve and desire, and that way is to create your own world. This way you will step out of the organized and traditional system and do your own thing.

Please do not confuse this notion with a desire for separatism. In this world many and diverse kinds of system can and do exist altogether all of the time and will do so in a harmonist environment. There is never any need for separation. You can be a capitalist who live next door to a socialist and he or she will do his or her own thing, and you will do yours, and this universe will serve both worlds to its fullest potential. This energy in this universe does not judge you, your activities or anything else. It simply goes about its business of fulfilling everyone desires and needs in according with his or her beliefs.

As you can see and contrary to what most people think, this traditional system is not the only game in town. The ability to serve diverse systems to their fullest is what many have referred to as abundance in the universe. This abundance is real and always available to every man woman and child. What we need to do is, sever our ties with the traditional system, and invoke our own because this is the only system that will serve us. The reason we must server our ties with the traditional system is because we cannot serve two masters.

When we take these steps to create our own world, the universe will respond and accommodate us in accordance with our belief. Notice, we do not oppose the traditional system nor do we try to change it in any way, because to do either one of these two things will bind us to the traditional system, and such a binding takes us away from invoking our own world. Again, we cannot serve two masters.

As you can see, this current shift in America’s cosmology which on the surface appears to be something negative, is in fact a blessing in disguise. These recent events should stimulate us to wake-up from the dream that we find ourselves in, and create our own world.

The WASP factor has won the election!

On September 29th of this year, I wrote a blog dealing the WASP factor relative to this election. Here is part of what I said.

"...Therefore if George W. Bush wins this election, it will not because he is smart, intelligent and a strong leader. It is be because he is a WASP and America loves the WASPS, regardless as to their faults or problems. George W. Bush is one of the first WASPS who has come out of closet to be elected president, and the WASPS want to keep him in office.

One may think these ideas are ideas of the past but the article in the LA TIMES last Sunday, referred to above, strongly suggests that these ideas are still with us and are stronger than ever."

The power is not in politics

When you read the Declaration of Independence you will find words that speak to a transcendent truth.

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

As we examine this part of the declaration, there are three areas to which we must direct our attention. First and foremost, we are told that these truths are self-evident. This means that these truths do not have to be proven or validated by any study or some other form of intellectual validation.

The second aspect of this declaration tells us that the rights that are given by these self-evident truths are endowed by our creator. This means that the truths about which the declaration speaks, do not come the constitution, any legislative body, or decision from the Supreme Court. They are given from our creator. and who is the creator? It is certainly not a politician and any other being other than one's self. Yes, we are self-created beings; however, we must believe that we are.

Finally, we are told that the truths that are given confer inalienable rights. This means that the truths, about which the declaration speaks, cannot be taken away by the constitution, any legislative body, or decision by the Supreme Court. This idea is consistent with the previous idea in that you cannot take away anything, that you are not capable of giving in the first place.

I suggest to you that this portion of the Declaration of Independence speaks of a higher power that is beyond the reach of man, and this power gives everyone the right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I call that which is given, "the life force". This life force is within every man, woman, and child who decides to wake-up from the dream in life and create his or her own reality.

The problems with the current cosmology of many Black are, they are begging, and pleading to get from institutions, that which is freely given by the powers within. It is because they have been socialized in the believing in religion and other institutions and therefore blinded from awakening to this truth. There is no greater power on earth than that power that is within, but one must believe in and wake-up this power.

It is too bad that Blacks have allowed religions to take away this incredible power and substitute its unworkable doctrines in its place. It is for this reason that life on earth for many people has become a living hell.

The Event that will decide the election has appeared!

Last Saturday, I wrote that the events that will decide this election has not happened yet. Here is what I wrote:

" As we move closer to the election day, people in general and the news media in particular are frantic trying to figure out who is going to win. They are really caught up in analysis trying to use the elements in cognitive reality to predicate a future event. Little do they know that all things in this world are created in the present moment. When I use the term present moment, I do not mean 60 seconds. The present moment is not limited to time only but includes all things on the horizon at the time when the event is schedule to take place. We have not reached the time when the day of the election is on the horizon. Thus, what is happening now with all of this analysis is people are having fun showing off their cognitive skills, and saying "see how smart I am."

Now this Saturday, one week later, the event has happened:

(AP) - Eight American Marines were killed in fighting west of Baghdad on Saturday, the military's bloodiest day in nearly six months. A car bomb killed at least seven people in attack on an Arab television network in the capital, and Iraqi troops fired wildly on civilian vehicles, killing at least 14 people, witnesses and hospital officials said.

This event will decide this election.

The fight to temporarily run the temporary world!

I find it incredibly fascinating that the country is completely divided about which presidential candidate will temporarily lead the temporary world. Regardless as to how things turn out, their tenure will not last very long. There is a force in this world that keeps things going and that force does not give a damn about who is the president.

I remember not too long ago, congress failed to pass a budget before the beginning of the new fiscal year, and everyone thought that things in this country would suddenly stop. When the new fiscal year started, even though no budget had been passed the forces in the universe continued. The chicken laid eyes, the cow continued to give milk, the wind continued to blow and the world moved on. Nothing stopped. It was during that time in our history when congress realized that they were not needed, and of course they decided to take action before the people discovered that they were not needed. A budget was passed almost immediately.

If George W. Bush wins the election, in four years, he will be irrelevant, and if John Kerry wins, in eight years, assuming he wins a second term, he will be irrelevant. No matter what happens, they will only have an impact on reality for a temporary amount of time. All of those who are panicking about who is going to be elected, should put this matter into this context.

Most significantly, I find it to be incredible that any person thinks he or she is smart enough to run the country. A candidate for president has got to have an incredible ego to believe this.

Lawyers for the Fox News Channel and its prized commentator are reportedly powwoing with reps for the female coworker who has accused him of sexual harassment about settling their differences outside of court.

The New York Daily News first reported Friday morning that Andrea Mackris, the associate producer for The O'Reilly Factor at the center of the saucy phone-sex scandal, has made back-door overtures to settle the case out of court.

Remember, this the same man who conducted an all out assault on Rap Music. I find that him trying the over power the victim by filing his lawsuit first is dispicable. Then he vowed to destroy the victim using the legal process. Morever, he has yet to deny any one of his perverted actions as depecited in the victim's lawsuit.

Talk Radio's Larry Elder - A silly Negro

Larry Elder, a conservative host of talk radio show on KABC AM in Los Angeles made an unbelievable remark when referring to Blacks. Elder is Black, but is noted for his comtempt for Black people, and especially for the Black culture. Today, while talking about the faults of Black people, he said, "they are breeding children irresponsibly."

I could not believe my ears. I consider the giving of birth to a human being, as something sacred, and I do not believe that "breeding" is an appropriate word for such an event. In fact, I generally use the word breeding when I am referring to an animal. Although I recognize that the word can be used in the way he used it, but it was clear by the tone of Elder's voice, he considered Black teens who are having babies out of wedlock to be similar to lower class animals.

How did we allow an amateur take us into war?

When George W. Bush came into office, he did not have any expereincce in foreign affairs. His only political experience was that of being a governor of Texas.

On the other hand, we had a congress that consisted of elected officials that had years of expereince in foreign affairs, yet these people allowed a virtual amateur take us into an incredible war that is turning into a nightmare, day by day.

What are we to do about the competence level of congress, or the lack thereof?

In the republic, the masses are abused just like in a dictatorship!

Isn't is amasing how America feels justified in going to war against Iraq, even though we did not find weapons of mass destruction. We justified it by the need to get rid of the brutal dictator, Saddam Hussein and then we went on and implemented the same kind of brutality on the same people. Remember the Iraqi prisoner scandel?

In a dictatorship, the dictator takes power away from the masses, and then use this power to abuse the people who gave up their power in the first place. In the republic, the government in which we live, we take the power from the masses and give such power to an elite society (government officials). What do these elite people do, you guess it, they abuse the masses.

Did you know why John Kerry keeps referring to the health plan that congress has implemented for its members? It is because this health plan is a virutal taking of the money from the masses for the beneift of the elites, and the elite members of congrees never have to pay a dime.

What about the most recent give-a-way to corporate america. George Bush signed a bill as recently as last week, giving tax breaks to corporate America, exceeding 100,000,000, and I have not heard one congressperson or senator open his or her mouth. In fact, I have not heard too much from the news media about this, and they are suppose to be our watch dog.

What about George Bush saying during the last debate that he was considering going to Canada for flu vaccine, when in the previous debate, he claimed that he was not convinced that drugs coming from Canada was safe. It is obvious that his reluctance to allow Americans to get drugs from Canada is another abuse leveled on the masses.

Then we have Illinois, which had a republican candidate running for the U.S. Senate who had to withdraw. What didt the leadership of the republican party do, it pissed in the face of everyone in illinois by going to Maryland to find a condidate to run againt Barak Obama. How abusive can the elite be?

Is this a republic or a dictatorship? Both of them piss in face of the masses and then tell them its is reaining.

The media has gone crazy with analysis & polls!

Now that the debates are over, a vacuum has been created in the news media. They are desparately trying to fill this vacuum with opinion polls and the analysis of these opinion polls. The quality of news and talk television has deteriorated to such a low that, I have stopped watching.. We have been overwhlemed with experts, pundits, and pollsters.

Knowing the life forces as I do, I am certain that the events that will decided the election has not even happened yet never-the-less these people are stabbing in the dark seeking to the find the angle.

I would Choose Donald Duck over George W. Bush!

When President Bush was about to do the last presential debate, he had his Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld, undercutting his positions by making statements to congress regarding whether we could win the war on terror. Then Paul Bremer, made statements to the effect that we did not have enough soldiers in Iraq to secure the peace, again undercutting statements made by George W. Bush.

Now we have soldiers who have refused to go into combat because of not having the proper equipment. We are experiencing the killing of our troops everyday, and then we have one soldier who was severely injured in the war, but now has to live in his car because the military he served will not provide for him. The army not only has refused to provide for him, but is now demanding that he return $2,700 which represents funds overpaid to him by the military. The conduct is so reprehensible, that a General has intervened and instructed the soldier not to repay the money.

While listening to radio, I heard the host of a radio program who is an avid George Bush supporter; ask a potential voter, how could you vote for John Kerry, when he has not done anything for the last twenty years while in the Senate?

If I had the opportunity to answer this question, I would have said, “It does not matter about John Kerry’s record. If Donald Duck was running against George W. Bush, I would vote for Donald Duck, because we cannot continue with Mr. Bush who has demonstrated clearly that he is not in control of his administration or the government."

Why our institutions have failed!

Do you get tired of all of the numbers and studies that are thrown at us?

The Western mindset is thoroughly committed to intellectual development and certain parts of the intellect in particular. These parts of the intellect of which the Western mindset is completely devoted is what I call the measured reality controlled by logic, reasoning and analysis. This is the world of cognitive reality. In cognitive reality, everything must be given a number, and analyzed based upon such number. The most limited aspects about cognitive reality is, those things or ideas that do not lend themselves to being measured or reduced to a number, are denied or deemed not to exist.

I want you to know that there is a world that is always around us and is beyond the reach of measurements and numbers, and therefore beyond the reach of cognitive realty. This world is the world of energy. It creates the flowers, the trees, the plants, and of course our physical bodies. We know that this world is beyond cognitive reality because you will not find a straight line in any of these manifested things. In other words, you will not find a straight line in the trees, the flowers, our physical bodies or anything in nature. Never-the-less, one cannot deny the existence of these things because they are around all of the time. The question is, how do we communicate to this reality, which I called “the new reality,” if we cannot use logic, reasoning, and analysis?

There are other aspects of the intellect that we use in a subservient way, and these aspects of the intellect are called our beliefs, our desires, and our intentions. These aspects of our intellect can be used to connect with and manipulate "the new reality." Of course, everyone is familiar with beliefs, desires, and intentions, but the Western mindset reverses their importance. The Western mindset believes that these faculties are subject to cognitive reality, and therefore, focuses all attention on developing cognitive reality. It is as though, the Western man is standing on his head which causse all of reality to be reversed. It is the desires, beliefs, and intentions that reach beyond cognitive reality and allow us to bring magic into our lives by manipulating forces in the universe that we cannot see or touch. However the Western mindset has reversed this process.

The development of cognitive reality is achieved through education and it is for this reason, education is of the highest priority in the Western world. The question is, how long will it take for this mindset to reverse itself, and awaken to the truth that true mastery of reality can only be achieve when we reverse the current world view devoted to cognitive reality, and learn how to connect with and manipulate the energies of the new reality.

This behavior is not foreign to us. The jazz musicians that play straight ahead jazz using the new reality all of the time to play this incredible music, even though many will not be able articulate the workings of this mental process, but never-the-less can use and do in fact, use it all of the time. Basketball players, also use the new reality when playing basketball. In other words, they will play the game by manipulating their beliefs, desires, and intentions, which cause the energy of the universe to flow through them accordingly, and of course magic always happens on the court.

When one is devoted to cognitive reality, he or she cannot use the full powers of the mind. That portion of reality that causes all things to be or not to be is either excluded or denied. It is no wonder that all of our institutions have failed or are in the process of doing so. They are devoted to logic, reasoning, and those worthless studies, (cognitive reality) and so long as they are using such limited aspects of their minds, they will continue to fail.

When my son was in high school, the student body was predominately white and he was on the basketball team. A school on the other side of town was predominately black, and they also had a basketball team. These basketball teams played each other and the black team slaughtered the white team. After the game, I asked my son why this had happened. He said, “when we practice, the coach dissects the movement into various parts and we will practice these movements over and over again, one part at the time.” He reduces a game which is clearly about how one uses energy, to an intellectual excercise. This coach is clearly devoted to cognitive reality. “On the other hand, the black basketball team learns the whole game at once”. This coach is committed to “the new reality.” Somehow, this coach knows that the game comes from beliefs, desires, and intentions which controls how energy flows and hence produce the result that we desire and intend. It ois clearly beyond the cognitive world.

More than a year ago, I was diagnosed as being diabetic. As the result of this diagnosis, I spent about three months dealing doctors, which meant that I took all kinds of tests designed to reduce me health condition to a set of numbers. There was the cholesterol count, blood pressure, blood count, etc. I did not know about this obsession with cognitive reality at the time, but somehow I knew that the test had no effect on my health, nor in the doctor’s ability to treat me. They were simply following a script designed to protect their licenses. I left them more than a year ago, and now my health in all respects are just fine.

Have you watched the news and of course the presidential debates? Do you feel the same way that I do about all of the numbers they throw at you. Of course you have all of these worthless studies that these people depend upon to make all kinds of decisions, most of which are wrong.

How long will it take us as a society to make the paradigm shift, from over dependence on cognitive reality, to reversing our behavior to exploit the powers of the new reality?

Mr. President, we are going to make a change!

After having watched the three presidential debates, it is clear that the president is in over his head in trying the run this country. He is a nice man, but is unable to articulate his positions, if he has one, which means he does not have the capability to lead this great nation.

It is clear that he has been propped up over the last four years with prepared statements and the like. It is equally clear that he is not able to think on his feet. The president of the United States must lead our country as well as the rest of the world. He cannot do his job if he is unable to think on his feet and articulate his positions on issues.

Not only is he not able to articulate his positions, he has a lack of understanding about certain issues. When talking about the loss of jobs during the last debate, he responded by implying that education is the solution. Doesn’t he understand that the loss of jobs in many cases has nothing to do with the lack of education? There are many educated people out of work as well as the non-educated. Then he went on to attribute the high unemployment rate in the Black community to the lack of education.

Here is the real kicker to this whole situation. The mainstream media (Black reporters and White reporters) whom I heard never mentioned this fact. Clearly they have this simplistic notion that 99 percent of the problems in the Black Community can be attributed to the lack of education. Unfortunately, these people are thoroughly committed to and fooled by “cognitive reality*.”

Finally, John Kerry informed us that Mr. Bush is the first president who has never met with the NAACP. Although I am not a big fan of the NAACP, I think that when a president refuses to meet with this group, it is a symbolic message, and a message I do not like, regardless as to what I think about the organization. Again, the media was silent.

The great John Coltrane disliked having to fire musicians from time to time, so when it was time to fire a musician, he would never use the phrase, “you’re fired.” He would simply put his arms around the musician’s shoulders and say, “I am going to make a change.”

Just as Coltrane would do, it is time for someone to put his or her arms around the president and says, we love you dearly, but the country to going to make a change.

* This entire universe is made up of energy. We as human beings use this energy and create our experiences. We have the capability to go directly from universal energy into the experiences that we desire, but many Western thinkers use this energy differently. They take this energy and convert it into language, ideas, writings, and rules, which is what I call cognitive reality. The problem is, using cognitive reality; they try to measure reality, and instead of harmonizing with it and allowing it to flow into their lives and honor their intents and desires.

Bill Cosby is Caught Up in Fools’ Paradise

People frequently ask the question, why did I name this blog, Politics From a Black Perspective, instead Politics From my Perspective. In other words, why do I bring in my race into the blog when the politically correct thing to do, is to leave race out?

I happen to believe that race is one of the crucial elements of the many things that make up my perspective. It is my culture, my upbringing and many other factors involved because each one of us is viewing reality from our own unique perspective. Thus, I reject the notion that we should be color blind when it comes to matters like politics or social issues.

Imagine for a moment that one day all of the animals in the jungle assembled in order to decide who was going to run things. The lion stepped forward and said, “I think we all have equal rights to the things in the jungle, however each one of you must attend lion school and lean how to become a lion. It should not matter because aren’t we all equal?"

In response to the lion’s statement, the tiger stepped forward and said, "I agree with your statement that we are all equal, but I have no intentions of attending a school to become a lion. I believe that we can coexist in harmony with you being a lion and me being a tiger."

When I apply this story to Blacks and Whites who are living in the Western world, I have heard the same argument that the lion was making. We are all equal and have equal rights; provided that you attend the European dominated schools and adopt its culture. In other words, they want to teach little Black boys and girls how to become little White boys and girls. Personally, I have no intention of forsaking my own culture so as to adopt another. Of course I have nothing against any other culture, but I believe my own is just as valid as any other and there is no reason for me to forsake my own.

I embrace all aspects of the way we use language, but could care less about the Kings English. My way of speaking and of course my way of writing are just as valid as any other speaking and writing style, and I have absolutely no contrition about either one or both of them. I remember when Magic Johnson was persuaded to take voice lesson when he was on late night television. There is no way that I would do this, regardless as to how bad my grammar is, or some other flaw based upon the so-called King’s English. I am not seeking employment with corporate America, and even if I were, I am certain they could understand me, bad grammar and all.

Bill Cosby with his crusade on transforming the speaking and learning habits of Black people has been thoroughly co-opted by his lifestyle and the majority culture, but little does not know he is living in a “fools’ paradise.” When it is all said and done, he will leave this world just like that uneducated Black youth that he so severely criticizes, and also just like the kid he criticizes, he will take nothing with him in the coffin.

We as, Black people, are not part of some problem or some kind of a study, but are a significant part of the whole of this society as we know it to be now. We do not need any kind of transformation in order enjoy the grace given the universe, the source of all power in this world. It is freely given to every man, woman, and child and no one can take it away.

George W. Bush while making his acceptance speech for the nominee for president of the United States said, he would implement a program so as insure that everyone gets a college education. Doesn’t he know that this will never happen, and even if he were to live on this earth for a thousand years, it still will not happen and for various reasons. The fact of the matter is, he should seek to create a world whereby everyone wins, the college educated, the non-college educated, the illiterate, the homeless, and all kinds of people from all walks of life.

There is enough abundance in this universe to provide a quality life style for every man, woman, and child one earth, but the so-called leaders on this earth must have a corresponding vision to make it a reality. These leaders must know and behave in a manner to serve all people as they are right now, and not seek to implement program to transform people into their way of life or culture.

Have anyone forgotten, this is one of the reasons we are in Iraq. We want to impose democracy on the Iraqis as well as the rest of the Islamic world. Remember what the tiger said to the lion?

The Media Cannot Hide Their Biases!

Long ago I read about the notion that each one of us is creating his or her own truth, which means that truth, is subjective. There are no objective truths. We know that truths come from various sources, one of which is facts. However the problems come in because each one of us is putting his or her own spin on the facts and therefore coming up with his or her own individual truth. The facts may be the same facts but each one of us will receive and interpret these facts differently, hence each truth is subjective.

Nothing better illustrates this notion than the behavior of the media and its reporters who are observing and reporting on the race for the presidency. How is it possible that two individuals can observe the same event, in this case a debate, and come to completely opposite conclusions? This is precisely what is happening with the current presidential race. The irony is, the media wants the viewing audience to believe just the opposite. They want the viewing audience to believe that their reports are unbiased and objective.

This "only subjective truth reality" demands that before a reporter give his or her report, a banner should scroll under his or her picture, revealing that he or she is a conservative, liberal, republican or democrat. This will give us some guidance as we the viewing audience, interpret and process his or her report. Moreover, no matter how hard they try, they cannot hide their biases. It will always seep into their reports somehow somehow before they finish reporting.

This idea has far-reaching implications because the conservative individuals claim that the mainstream media has a liberal bias, which mean they will observe and report facts in such as way to support these biases, and of course the liberal individuals claim the opposite to be true. With there being no such thing as an objective truth, we must deal with whatever subjective truth is being fed to us at the time.

I, on the other hand, being neither Republican nor Democrat, nor conservative or liberal see things completely differently. I see political reality as the struggle between the traditionalists and establishment, and the non-traditionalists and the non-establishment forces. Thus, I see the media as a supporter of the established order, which essentially supports both the conservatives and the liberals. It is for this reason that I see both political parties as the same.

There is a need for a new paradigm for living this life on earth, but this new paradigm will never manifest so as long as both major political parties believe in the current paradigm. I honestly believe that this one factor, is the factor the causes more than fifty percent of the people not to participate in the electoral process. They simply do not vote. These people who do not participate in the political process know that something is wrong, even through they cannot articulate precisely what is wrong, so they simply stay away.

Because of the subjective nature of all truths, the media with its observers and reporters are not rendering the service that they think they are, i.e. reporting objective truths. Can you imagine how confusing this situation is to our youths, who have not developed to the level where they are thinking for themselves, yet they must make a decision on what is being reported to them by a very bias reporter, and the real harm comes in because they think they are reporting objectively. If they only knew, what is so patently obvious!

We Pay the President to be Right About WMD.

When asked about the fact that we have not found weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, the president quickly points out, my predecessor thought that Iraq has such weapons, the congress of the United State thought so, and so did many of our allies.

I cannot believe that the press will allow Mr. Bush to get away with this weak argument over and over again. It has been so widely accepted, that I hear Mr. Bush’s supportes using the same argument.

First and foremost, Mr. Bush’s predecessor, the congress of the United States, nor did our allies commit American troops to war that has cost us over one thousand lives, and still counting. We must hold the president to a higher standard than others because we give him everything that he demands to be right on these matters. We provide to him provide all of the people resources he demands, all of his technical needs, as well as all of the money he needs to get the job done right. Under these circumstances, I do not want to hear from him, others were wrong about WMDs and therefore I have the right be wrong too.

We want this man to do the job that he was paid to do, and if he cannot do it, step aside and let someone take a crack at it.

Politicians Are Not That Smart!

During the vice-presidential debate, Gwen Ifill, the debate moderator raised the question as to what the respective administrations were going to do about Aids in the Black Community.

I cringed when I heard this question because it gives power and intelligence to politicians that they do not have. I have said it before, we are electing politicians, not Gods.

Applying this logic to Iraq, does any serious thinker believe that George Bush or John Kerry can solve the problems in Iraq? The fact of the matter they cannot regardless as to how great the plans they have may be. Plans are just that plans. They have never been able to solve problems. Remember the plans of the Great Society, when Lyndon B. Johnson planned to wipe out poverty? These plans failed as with all other plans that politicians try to apply to problem solving. The problems in Iraq will just have to run its course and there is nothing that politicians can do to prevent this.

In fact, this Western man has only two solutions to world problems, which are either, throw money at it, or bomb the hell out of them. If money or force does not work, you can forget about the solution to the problem.

How many times have I heard leaders in the inner city scream out to the politicians, “what are you going to do about poverty, the poor schools, and health care problems,” as though the politicians are capable of solving such problems.

Then, we constantly hear Black leaders complaining about the drugs in the inner city, as though the politicians could wave a wand and instantly wipe out drugs in the community.

The problem with looking to the politicians for solutions to problems in society is, it takes the power away from where it actually is, which is in the individual. Each soul on earth has a power within his or her being to solve all of his or her problems. The real problems comes when the individual abdicates his or her throne, and gives his or her power to the politicians to solve problem. It is like throwing money down a rat hole.

When it comes to problem-solving, the truth of the matter is, politicians are not that smart.

Is Cheney a Closet Racist?

Last night during the Vice presidential debate, John Edwards while talking about Cheney’s voting record, said that Cheney had voted against the establishment of Dr. Martin Luther King’s birthday, and he had also voted against the resolution to free Nelson Mandela.

Now I can see that if one is concerned about the fiscal impact of a national holiday, they could conceivably be against such a holiday. However when one votes against the resolution to free Nelson Mandela, it clearly raises the issue of race. It is the siding with a White regime in South Africa against a Black man who was clearly a political prisoner causes me to believe that Mr. Cheney to is a “closet racist.”

Before you get the wrong impression, I am not one of those Blacks who blame racism for the troubles that Many Blacks experience. I happen to believe that when Blacks wake from the dream in life, and realize that they have the power now, and have always had the power to create the kind of life that they desire, then such things as racism and the many rules that seek to control in the Western world will not matter.

I also believe that when I make up my mind about reality and how I want it to happen in my wife, it will happens regardless as to the policies of the president or anyone else. It is I who create the experiences in my life. Never-the-less, if the man who is one heart beat away from being the president of the United States is a closet racist, I want to know, and I want him to know that I know.

This revelation is significant because this issue would never be taken up by White journalists because they appear not to be offended by the racist’s mindset. Moreover, it will never be mentioned by Black journalists caught up in the White media world, because they are afraid of losing their jobs.

To make matters worse, the news reporters want to “piss on our heads and tell us its raining” by calling the debate a draw. When we have a presidential race as close as this one, the reporters are afraid to take sides because they want to be in favor with who ever wins. They will need an occasional interview from the winner, and they do not want to be caught on the wrong side. Therefore we had all of the many reporters on the Larry King Show saying that the debate was a draw. It offended me, because they thought the viewing audience was stupid enough to believe them.

Clearly John Edwards won the debate because of his ability to articulate the facts and explain his position. This is a qualification that one absolutely needs as the leader of the free world and clearly Mr. Cheney nor did his running mate have these skills. In fact, on one occasion, Cheney was asked about jobs and talked about reforming the educational system. I do not think that Cheney made one significant point when dealing the issues, but notwithstanding all of this, the reporters called it a draw, and expected the world to believe them.

Now you see why it is necessary to have this blog called Politics from a Black Perspective.

P.S. Gwen Ifill took the fire out the debate with her silly question on aids. We are electing a president, not God. There is absolutely nothing that George Bush, John Kerry or anyone else do about aids the Black community.

Opinion Polls Are Worthless!

I have never given much credence to opinion polls. First and foremost, I have never believed that one could take a sample of a thing, and draw a conclusion about the whole. Moreover, we live in a "living universe" where all things are in constant motion, and are constantly changing. Therefore what one can concludes about yesterday, has no significant bearing on what is happening today.

The events that will decide this presidential election have not even happened yet, because of the dynamic nature of this universe. It will happen a day or two before the election or perhaps on the day of the election.

The overly use of opinion polls would not even matter, but for the fact that they overload the information circuits which are already overloaded with irrelevant things. What I believe is really happening is, that various news organizations have all of this mone and technology, and because they have it they must use it, hence we the results of all of these opinion polls.

Condoleezza Rice and Colin Powell Have Been Turned Into Automatons!

As I watched Condoleezza Rice on television trying to sell the George W. Bush's (or perhaps its the Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld's ) doctrine, I feel so sorry for her. I wonder if she knows as most people know, that she has no credibility with television audiences as she sit there discussing issues about Iraq, and the justification for going to war in the first place. Ironically the words coming out of her mouth do not seem to fit her, and clearly she is simply being loyal to the administration she serves. I cannot help but wonder, what happened to the person when loyalty supersedes all personal integrity.

Of course the same can be said of Colin Powell. Clearly he does not believe the words coming out of his mouth.

Is it possible that both Rice and Powell have been thoroughly co-opted by their situations? Here one finds him or her self being one of the only few Blacks in an otherwise Lilly White organization. Clearly if one accepts such an assignment, loyalty automatically goes with it. Of course, I do not expect Rice and Powell to hold their fists in the air and scream black power, but how much of their individuality must they surrender in the name of loyalty?

Maybe there is no answer to this question. However I am requesting that they please stay off television trying to sell a doctrine in which they clearly have no authority or credibility. It simply makes them look like fools.

The News Media - is The Sure Way to Jinx Reality!

As I observe and report on politics from my own perspective, I cannot dismiss the impact that the media has on such perspective. I have heard political conservatives complain that the media leans too much to the left of center, while those on the left have said just the opposite. Everyone knows that the media has tremendous impact, and that their individual biases determine how stories and events are reported. Unfortuantely, most people do not know how to articulate their concerns about media impact or decide what to do about them.

The thirty-two pages of rules regarding the recent presidential debate spent a tremendous amount of ink trying to minimize the impact of the media. Certainly no one can deny that the skillful use of video cameras can spin an event and transform how such an event is received by the viewers.

Have you ever noticed that during Republican events such the recent convention, cameras are often trained on Blacks delegates because the Republican leadership wants the world to know that Blacks are Republicans too. Then there are the large church crowds at Black churches, where the cameras will quickly pan to any Whites in the congregation to avoid having someone think that this is an exclusively Black event.

Like it or not, the cameras play a parts of any televised event, and like it or not, the camera person will frequently spin the event he or she is taping, one way or the other.

However, the camera is part of the larger group which is the media. It is no secret that gang members will do a “drive by shooting,” and then rush home to see the story reported on the 11:00 news. It would not surprise me that if the event was not reported, the gang members would have to do “another drive by” just to validate themselves. Can the media be treated as a kind of “codependency” in these drive by shootings? Just like members of an alcoholic families are deemed to be codependents because of having to adapt to dysfunctional behavior, we can use this same idea to describe the media, but they not only have to adapted to dysfunctional behavior, they seem to thrive on such behavior.

I am certain that terrorist use the media to achieved the ultimate goal which is to terrorize the masses. When 911 happened, the media showed the footage of the planes flying into the twin towers more than 1,000 times, and each time it was shown, the pain of the events were resurrected and re-lived by many people who have lost friends and relatives. Nothing further needs to done by the terrorists, because America is thoroughly terrorized by bad memories and a media that will not let these bad memories die.

What about the beheadings that have been happening recently? Do you think the impact of these events would have the same impact but for the media? In fact, a better question is, do you think that the terrorists will still engage in beheading hostages, if they knew that it would not be broadcasted around the world. Of course some may think that terrorist engage in terrorist activity because they are violent people, but I believe most important of all, they want others to know about their violent activities. This is where the media comes into the picture.

Now the journalist will quickly tell you, we are just doing our jobs because the world has the right to know what is happening around them. Perhaps they are right, but my point here is, they should not remain invisible and we must let them know that we know what is going on. In too many cases, in the name of the public has the right to know, the media is helping the enemy, and this must be brought to their attention.

What will this accomplish you ask? Let me give you this analogy. When I do these articles on “Politics from the Black Perspective," I do not intend to have direct impact on political activity. My goal is to let politicians and other so-called leaders in this society, know that I know what they are doing and that I can see through all of their games and deceit. When they know that I know, I will become their conscience. I will always be on their shoulders when they are about to take action, whispering in their ear, “ I will hold you accountable for all of your actions, regardless as to how well you think you have hidden them.

This is precisely what we want to do with the media and its many journalists. We will become their conscience, and always be with them whispering in their ear, to guide them as they make decisions that have impact on our lives.

Kerry Puts a Royal Whipping on Bush!

Everyone sees the world from his or her own unique perspective and this perspective colors his or her judgment. Thus, every person who is on television and in other media outlets, should preface his or her comments with their particular perspective. This way we can reduce the impact of spin on events which deceives people. This morning, there are many of George Bush’s supporters appearing on television and asserting that he won the debate. If these people would let us know ahead of time that they are George Bush supporters they would not look like idiots. Otherwise they look like someone who should not be on television asserting their personal views. Larry King of CNN had William Weld on and clearly he was a George Bush supporter, but tried to hide it and make the viewing audience think that he was objective. If he were a “man on the street,” then such conduct would be acceptable, but sitting on television as a commentator or an analyst is quite a different thing.

Here is my perspective. I am Black man with no political party affiliation because I am of the opinion that both political parties are essentially the same, and have lost the capacity to govern. They are simply going through the motions of trying to govern by speaking, writing, and collecting tax money, just to make a living by deceiving the masses into thinking that they know what they are doing. They are unable to change anything in anyway.

Although I have no party affiliation, I still observe this system in action, because I am fascinated by the degree of incompetence, and deception that are used against the masses of people who have been completely co-opted by notions of authority. George W. Bush can get away with being incompetent as he is, because many people have been co-opted by his authority. After all, he is the president and the president can do no wrong.

After watching the presidential debate, I was again struck by fact, that Mr. Bush is unable to marshal facts in support of a particular legal or logical position. In other words, he cannot think on his feet. Mr. Bush was prepared to make about three arguments or assert three conclusions, and he used them over and over again throughout the debate.

Mr. Bush displayed a “down to earth” personality with a “good old boy feel.” Many people consider this to be an asset, judging by their comments after the debate. This persona may be alright if Mr. Bush was organizing a posse in Texas to tract down an outlaw. However, it is not good enough to stand before leaders of the world to create a coalition of any kind. World leaders will demand that he earns their respect by mastering the facts and stating a position based upon such facts. The leader of the free world must have such skills. Of course Mr. Bush is a likable person and may be someone people will enjoy being around, but being the leader of the free world is over his head.

There is one other argument that the president and his supporters make that reflects a superficial mind that only operates on the surface. This argument is, “John Kerry is being inconsistent because he voted for the war, and now appears to be against it.” John Kerry’s response to this argument should be, “we give policemen authority to use a gun to kill people, but he or she still cannot use this authority indiscriminately.” If a policeman uses his gun to kill someone against policy, he cannot be heard to say, “you gave me the authority to use this gun, now you are being contradictory because oppose the authority you gave me.”

I do not understand why John Kerry or his campaign people cannot make this analogy?

THE WASP FACTOR WILL WIN THE DEBATE FOR GEORGE W. BUSH.

On Sunday September 26, 2004, The Los Angeles Times ran an article in the Opinion Section entitled, “American the Conservative.” The sub-heading said, “Europe is in the 21st Century, but we remain in the 18th”.

This article went on to describe the mindset of a group of people that is defined as WHITE ANGLO-SAXON PROTESTANT or “WASP.” The WASP is different from Caucasians, in that many of them are described as “Hicks” or people who are not “hip”. By definition they are religious and committed to the protestant faith; tend to love country music, automobile racing, square dancing, game hunting, and outdoor living. All WASPS are Caucasians, but not all Caucasians are WASPS.

The WASPS have always believed that they own America and that their values are the only true American values. They dislike Jews, Blacks, and are even skeptical of other Caucasians. George W. Bush is a WASP, but Al Gore is a Caucasian, and this is why Bush won the last election against Al Gore, and this is why he is likely to win against John Kerry. Unless I am mistaken, John Kerry is Catholic.

The WASP factor also explains the reasons why George W. Bush is like Teflon, and can get away with virtually any kind of behavior, rational or otherwise. It does not matter that he has committed the country to an unjustified war where we have lost more than 1,000 lives. He still leads John Kerry in the polls because he is a WASP and he knows where his allegiance will be found. It will be found with Talk Radio, the NASCAR circuit, and the country music world in general and in these worlds, he can do no wrong.

You may have noticed that members of his cabinet also hang out with the WASP crowds. They will appear on conservative talk radio and television shows to give interviews, but shun the so-called liberal radio and television shows.

The WASPS became oblivious during the sixties with the break out of the Civil Rights movement because many were racists and made to feel guilty during this period. There are many Blacks who felt that being a conservative during the past 40 years or being a WASP was synonymous with being a racist. The WASPS knew this and as the result, many of them remained on the closet.

This is why prior to Ronald Reagan, a conservative was ashamed to identify him or herself as a conservative, being afraid of being ridiculed or called a racist. However, Ronald Reagan changed all of this. He was one of the first conservative to openly challenge the “government spending for social programs,” which is a code phrase for assisting Black people. In fact his first acts as president were to cut as many social programs as he could. Ronald Reagan is the father of the homeless generation of people. With these actions, taken during his presidency, he became the darling of the WASP world, and remains so today. He was one of the first conservatives to come out of the closet, and other conservatives soon followed suit and have been out of the closet ever since.

During the course of this presidential campaign, political pundits and other commentators have been confused about the WASP factor, regardless as to what happens, on the administration’s watch, like the recent explosion of violence in Iraq, the Abu Ghurayb prison scandal, the 911 Commission Report, and the general failing economy, John Kerry cannot make any headway in the polls. It is as though these things are not happening on George W. Bush’s watch or that he is detached from his administration. These factors have confused the political pundits and other analysts because they have overlooked the WASP factor.

Therefore if George W. Bush wins this election, it will not because he is smart, intelligent and a strong leader. It is be because he is a WASP and America loves the WASPS, regardless as to their faults or problems. George W. Bush is one of the first WASPS who has come out of closet to be elected president, and the WASPS want to keep him in office.

One may think these ideas are ideas of the past but the article in the LA TIMES last Sunday, referred to above, strongly suggests that these ideas are still with us and are stronger than ever.

Who needs enemies- we've got religion to do us in!

I remember that a few days after 911, when George W. Bush, other politicians, selected entertainment and sports figures appeared in a church in New York. I am not sure if they were praying or otherwise asking God to do something for America or whatever, but I knew by observing this event, that this country was in serious trouble.

The way I see it, a person can believe in God who sits in heaven, granting or denying favors up until the age of perhaps 45. If this person reaches the age of 50 and still believes in that same God, he or she is no longer a sentient being. Sentient beings think and if one gets to the age of fifty and believes in the God of Moses, then clearly he or she has not reached the level of becoming a thinker or sentient being.

As the story goes, Moses encountered God while on Mount Sinai, where he was able to talk with God, who gave him the Ten Commandments. When I was a young man, I accepted this story as being true and gave it no more thought. However, when I became an adult, I had to rethink the story, and the more thought about it, the more ridiculous it appeared.

It became incredibly clear to me that the God that Moses encountered on Mount Sinai came from his mind. He created this God from the same powers that we all have as creative beings, and then told the world about his God.

Ever since that time, many people, especially Christians, have been searching for the God that Moses met on Mount Sinai, while being completely unaware of their authority to create their own God just as Moses created his.

People have been praying, pleading and begging Moses’ God to give them relief from the pains and sufferings of life and such prayers have fallen on deaf ears. You see, they have been praying to Moses’ God and he cannot hear them. If they want to bring divine powers in their lives, then they must do what Moses did, which is awaken or resurrect their own God that sleeps within their hearts and minds.

This one idea had caused more pains and sufferings for mankind than any other idea on the planet. God did not create man; it is the other way around. We, the human beings with creative powers create our own personal Gods.

Watching George Bush and John Kerry who both profess to be religious men, I squirm when I realize the path we are own as we make this journey through life. However, it is not only true with Bush and Kerry, but the whole Islamic world is devoted to religion and then we have Israel and the Jewish community pursuing their own God. The significant thing is, all of these religious people are seeking to impose their way of life on other people in the name of their God. The fact of the matter, they are not that smart.

So I am waiting and watching all of these people, who think they are smart enough to run the world, put their respective plans into action. I shall continue to watch as these plans fail as I am certain that they will, but the masses will be undaunted. They will blame the leaders of those unworkable plans and then proceed to elect new leaders with new plans. Little do they know, these plans will fail also. This process will continue and the people will go around in circles until they wake-up from this dream in life, just as Alice had to wake-up from the dream in Wonderland.

When they wake-up they will realize that no leader can do for them, that which they are empowered to do for themselves. There is no savior coming that will save them from the misery that will come to them because they have failed to accept your own crown. You, the eternal cosmic being, have now and has always had the power to create your reality and enjoy the life that you desire. However you cannot abdicate the crown. You must step up to reality and say firmly, I am the way, the truth and the life.

This morning I read this headline in a newspaper called THE FREE-LANCE STAR.

“George Bush is the right guy to protect America today”

As I read this, I thought to myself, George Bush cannot protect America and neither can John Kerry. This is the classical religious “I have a savior mentality.”

Many years ago, when countries went to war, they would draw a line between the two, and each would line up on their side of the line along with their armies, and artillery, to begin to fire on each other until only one was left standing. Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on your point of view, this is not the way of war anymore.

First and foremost, the opposing factions may or may not be countries. They could be as cells or a small a group of individuals. Secondly, they will not stand on one side of a line, and let the other side take aim and kill them. No way. Instead of the old way, they will use terrorism, guerrilla warfare, and suicide bombers. They will conduct themselves in accordance with the old adage, “all is fair in love and war.” This means that, if they can kidnap one of your people, and threaten to behead him or her so as to terrorize your people, this is fair because this is war.

Our current leadership calls our current security efforts as a war on terrorism, and declare that we plan to win this war. Do they not know that terrorism is an idea. You cannot kill an idea. As I speak, there are twelve to fourteen year olds boys all over the world, aspiring to join the terrorist’s ranks. This means that in three to four years, we will have a whole to batch of terrorists with which to deal, and there is no end to this cycle, because there is no end to life and the energy that propels it.

Once I heard the president say, this is a matter of “good versus evil.” When I heard this, I thought that he was speaking to the American people as though they were children; or perhaps, he was speaking as a child himself. In any event, there is an energy that controls all things in the universe and this energy does not care one damn bit about “good and evil.” A criminal can use this energy to do a crime as easily as a priest can use it to heal a parishioner. This energy does not judge!

It is clear to me that George Bush and John Kerry are both caught up in religion and being so trapped, they cannot connect with the current energy on the scene. This new energy on the world scene is causing all kinds of pain and suffering, and will require some new thought forms, the kind that our current leadership which include the president and Congress, cannot grasp.

So I am sitting here waiting and watching for the emergence of the new leadership, who can resonate with the new energy, or for America to crumble with its old and unworkable notions about reality.

911 Commission Lets Bush off the Hook!

I was surprised that the 911 Commission recommended that we create a National Intelligence Director, because I thought this is what we pay the president to do. We give the president all of the people, and money resources he demands, yet never-the-less, he cannot manage the intelligence agencies without reorganizing the government.

The other strange thing about this issue is, no one in congress on either side has challenged this recommendation. Finally we have the news media, and we know how smart they think they are, but they are also silent on this issue. Unfortunately, the news media has been thoroughly co-opted by politicians because they need access in order to stay in business. Clearly they cannot bite the hand that feeds them.

As to Congress, no one wants to challenge a report rendered by a bipartisan commission. By the way, this is the same kind of political thinking that got us into the Iraqi war. The president was so popular at the time, no one wanted to challenge his decision to go to war, so congress voted for it. Now, no one can be heard to complain about the fact that the Iraq is a mess, because both congress and the president are in the same boat. In fact, this is why Howard Dean could criticize George Bush on the war, but Kerry cannot. You see, he voted for the war!

Clearly, these people have lost the capacity to govern!
